Ayano takes amazing shots and she is a very nice person. We wanted to work with someone who didn't necessarily focus solely on weddings and you can tell by looking at her online gallery that she is an artist first, and wedding photographer second. She's photographed lots of dance and other performances and is very adept at capturing movement and excitement in her photos. We're not the most photogenic people and she did a great job with two people who don't like taking pictures. Our guests are clamoring for copies of her photos- they're that good. Ayano has three basic packages but she can also tailor her services to your budget and needs. If you hire her, you will be rushing out to buy frames.

Ayano was my wedding photographer for a destination wedding. I had been a fan of her travel and documentary work and was so excited she could photograph my wedding.She did a beautiful job, was great during the planning process and provided us with a range of photos from the day that really captured the emotion and beauty of the day because of her skill. Ayano took some engagement photos for us, both portrait and candid shots. She was very accommodating about scheduling, quick to respond to emails, and got the photos to us immediately after the shoot. We had a fun time having our pictures taken, and best of all, we received several very beautiful photographs. I am shy about posing for photos, but Ayano really put me at ease and the photos look very natural. Couldn't recommend her more!

Ayano's ability to capture the energy and essence of an event is remarkable. I worked with her on two events at the New York Philharmonic, one offsite and one at David Geffen Hall. She went above and beyond to take photos of everything — the audience, the musicians, the food and drink, and the smallest details that made these events special. She even climbed the scaffolding in the offsite venue to get the perfect shot of the aerial artists. She was great at asking questions, responding to our needs and turning around the first batch of photos overnight.
